About This Station

The station is powered by La Crosse WS 2530 weather station and is situated in the commune of Sincey-lès-Rouvray (post code 21530) at an altitude of 375 metres. The data are collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 30 minutes. This site and its data are collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in suitable positions to ensure valid data.

About Sincey-lès-Rouvray

The village, with about 125 inhabitants, is situated in the eastern extremities of the Morvan Natural Park and lies within the Department of the Côte d’Or of which the administrative centre is the city of Dijon. Sincey is roughly equidistant from the towns of Avallon, Saulieu and Semur-en-Auxois – each at about 20 km. Its principal economic interest is agriculture, mainly cattle, with arable farming supporting the latter. Both the autoroute A6 and the Paris-Lyon TGV high speed train line pass about 7km to the east of the village.
